Welcome to the United Benefice of Ropley, Bishop’s Sutton and West Tisted – a Church of England benefice within the Diocese of Winchester.

Ropley Electoral Roll 2019 – make sure you’re on it!

Every six years, the Electoral Roll is completely updated. This year, it means that everyone has to apply to be included on the Roll for Ropley, regardless of whether you’re on the existing Roll or not. The deadline for registering is Saturday 23 February 2019 at the latest.

A special page has been set up for Ropley Electoral Roll information: St Peter’s Electoral Roll Update, 2019

“Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” — Romans 8:35,37 1989, 1995. Powered by BibleGateway.com.

StPetersAs you may be aware, Ropley’s beloved parish church of St Peter’s was very severely damaged by a fire in June 2014. Information about that fire, including substantial galleries of images, can be found on our sister website RaiseStPeters.uk where you can also find the current situation and fundraising opportunities.

The StPetersRopley.org.uk website that you are now viewing will focus on the ongoing Christian worship in Ropley and the United Benefice of Ropley, Bishop’s Sutton and West Tisted, with details of services, ministry and all the “normal” functions of an Anglican church community.

RopleyParishHallUntil further notice, Ropley services are being held in Ropley Parish Hall – about 200 yards downhill from St Peter’s Church. Benefice services are also held periodically in either St Nicholas, Bishop’s Sutton; St Mary Magdalene, West Tisted; or Ropley Parish Hall. Further details can be found in our Ministry pages.
